STATEMENT OF THE JOB:
Under the direct management of the Director of Youth Residential Programs, the Administrator ensures the facility meets all Community Care Licensing and other regulatory agency regulations. Additionally, providing direct supervision of the Assistant Administrator and Mental Health Specialists who staff one residential facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for ensuring electronic health records are input accurately,
maintained, and current for all residents in accordance with Summitview policies.
- Completes and submits required documentation and paperwork to director within
indicated time frames.
- Ensures the safety of residents through direct supervision corresponding with
agency guidelines and policies.
- Complete knowledge of and assurance of Title 22 regulations for a facility licensed as a
Group Home or an STRTP and STRP ILS regulations if the facility is licensed as an
STRTP as defined by Community Care Licensing.
- Ensures daily residence structure and house routines, supervises daily activities
and outings as needed.
- Participate in resident outing schedules and acts as Activities Coordinator for each residence.
- Ensures proper use of approved interventions and treatment strategies.
- Daily review of incident reports including emergency interventions, law enforcement
contact and unusual incident reports completing follow up as needed and ensures
reports are forwarded to Community Care Licensing and other required stakeholders
within the necessary time frames.
- Responsible for maintaining the residential program physical standards including facility rosters, monthly physical plant checks, staff log checks and Licensing 500 completion.
- Maintains a current Community Care Licensing Administrator Certificate and
proactively seeks required continuing education units and re-certifications.
- Facilitates Community Care Licensing inspections.
- Performs all functions of scheduling for the house under their supervision including reviewing weekly schedules, moving, and assigning staff between houses as needed, contacting staff to fill shifts and overall being proactive in resolving scheduling issues.
- Participate in the on-call rotation with other Administrators and assigned staff that require availability via phone or in-person as necessary to aid, escalate and supervise during non-scheduled shifts.
- Maintain an awareness of agency needs including, but not limited to, the needs of
staff and appropriate support to provide.
- Participate in the on the floor training, annual training and evaluations of the Assistant Administrator and Mental Health Specialists.
- Provides additional written documentation of the client's progress.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess a valid, unrestricted California Driver's License; personal automobile liability insurance; and a driving record acceptable to Summitview's insurance carrier.
- Must be physically and mentally fit; must be willing to complete a health screening including physical examination as required by our state licensing agency Community Care Licensing (CCL); and must have the unrestricted capacity to employ physical restraint techniques in a professionally safe manner.
- Must be willing to present a recent negative Tuberculosis test or be willing to take one.
- Must be willing to complete and pass a Department of Justice (DOJ) personal background investigation to meet the requirements of our state licensing agency Community Care Licensing
(CCL).

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must meet the following minimum requirements:
Have completed at least two years at an accredited college or university, plus at least five years' administrative experience or supervisory experience over social work, direct care and/or support staff providing direct services to children in an agency or in a community care facility with a licensed capacity of six or more.
- Management or supervisor experience preferred.
- Minimum of one year of service with Summitview and must be in good standing preferred.
- Holds CCL Administrator Certificate or is willing to acquire one.
OTHER:
- Employment is at-will.
- This position is an hourly, full-time, non-exempt position.
- 24/7 shift coverage required; shift times will vary based upon the needs of the agency.
- Direct care staff position therefore follows Wage Order 5 overtime, meal, and break period rule
Salary: $28.85 hourly
